Hyderabad is famous for -
First, Charminar is the famous touristic place in Hyderabad and is located in the old Hyderabad, It was built in 1591 by Quli Qutub Shah. It has four minarets each 48.7 meters tall.
Second, Golconda Fort which dates back to the 13th century is an enormous fort. It remained under the control of various dynasties from kakatiya dynasty to the Mughal dynasty.
Third, Makkah Masjid is a 400 years old ancient mosque built by Quli Qutub Shah. It has several rooms out of which one consists of the hair of prophet Muhammed.
Fourth, Salarjung Museum is a wonderful museum that was founded in 1951. The museum has some amazing collections of the Salarjung II. From wood carvings to Persian artifacts, it has almost everything antique.
Fifth, Qutb Shahi Tombs is one of the seven wonderful tombs built by the Qutubuddin dynasty. It is a combination of Hindu and Persian styles.
Sixth Hussain Sagar lake, it is an artificial lake connecting Secunderabad and Hyderabad. It has a statue of 16 meters tall Buddha which is one of the major tourist places. It is surrounded by Lumbini Park, Sanjeevaiah Park, and NTR Gardens.
Seventh, Birla Temple is situated at the southern end of the Hussain Sagar lake. The structure of the temple reflects the Oriya style architecture. It is a white stunning beauty.
Eight, Chowmahalla Palace, is a Palace beauty of 200 years old. It was the official seat of the Nizams. It has also received the UNESCO Asia Pacific Merit award for Cultural Heritage Conservation.

Tenth, Spanish Mosque is situated inside the Paigah Palace and was built by the Paigah Nawabs. It is decorated with European architecture.
Eleventh Paigah tombs are a resting place for the Paigah nawabs. The structures are a combination of Mughal, Rajputana, Persian and Deccan architectures. It has detailed carvings and stonework.
Twelfth, Nehru Zoological Park is a 300-acre park that was established in 1959. It resides a huge variety of species and animals from Royal Bengal Tigers to Rhinoceros.
